PhD by Research Scholarships

I will be starting my research towards a PhD in African History. I have a grant from the Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change at the University of Minnesota.

Taking into consideration the high costs of living, the my grant will not sustain me for an entire year.

Are there any other funding opportunities which I can apply for?
