Peoplelink Consultants Ltd Field Executive Housekeeper Jobs in Kenya


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage housekeeping staff schedules, shift rotas and daily room assignments.

  • Set, monitor and audit cleanliness standards across all hotel areas.

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, corridors and back‑of‑house spaces.

  • Lead Floor Supervisors, Room Attendants, Public Area staff and Laundry teams.

  • Partner with Front Office to track room status, VIP arrivals and turnaround times.

  • Oversee laundry production, linen stock control, replacement cycles and inventory.

  • Manage departmental budgets, supply purchasing and operational costs.

  • Enforce safety protocols, chemical handling and hygiene standards.

  • Recruit, train, coach and evaluate housekeeping staff performance.

  • Collaborate with Engineering to address room defects and maintenance tasks promptly.

    Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Housekeeping Management or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in housekeeping operations.

  • At least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in staff scheduling, room assignments and quality inspections.

  • Strong expertise in laundry control, chemical safety and inventory management.

  • Solid background in budgeting, cost control and cross‑departmental teamwork.
