People Link Consultants Quality Controller - Process Engineer Jobs in Kenya



Our client a leading an Automotive Accessories company is looking to fill the position of a Quality Controller/ Process Engineer.


Responsibilities:


  • Preparation and production of process engineering charts.
  • Follow on operational processes and submit their time study.
  • Participate in timely control checks.
  • Knowledge in occupational health and safety procedures will be an added advantage.
  • Follow product from design stage.
  • Update job knowledge and maintain quality standards.
  • Coach and mentor junior employee; seek opportunities to grow leadership in others
  • Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
  • Approve all in-process production by confirming required specification, conducting visual and measurement tests and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor.


    Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/ Industrial/ Mechanical Engineer.
  • 2 years’ experience in manufacturing /production environment.
  • Strong communication Skill, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies.
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Kaizen and 5s principles and practices in production.
  • Must be logical and attentive
    to details.
  • Exposure in motor industry or vehicle accessories will be an added advantage.
  • Time and stress management skills.
  • Quick learner and can work under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task
