Penda Health Sonographer Jobs in Kenya;We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join our team. The role involves delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging services using ultrasound technology to support the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide imaging services in line with practice parameters and standards of care.

  • Process, verify and maintain patient information accurately.

  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring readiness and accurate identification.

  • Produce timely and accurate results following ultrasound SOPs and standards.

  • Review test results for accuracy and consistency, correlating with patient conditions.

  • Maintain records, filing systems and equipment logs to comply with regulations.

  • Order and maintain supplies with proper stock control procedures.

  • Conduct weekly and routine maintenance of ultrasound equipment.

  • Adhere to safety and infection control policies at all times.

  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Branch Manager in line with Penda Health services.

  • Be flexible to conduct scans across various Penda Medical Centers.

  • Uphold Penda’s Vision and Values in all duties.

    Key Requirements & Attributes

  • Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography / Medical Imaging Sciences.

  • Valid license to practice from the relevant regulatory or professional body.

  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience as a Sonographer.

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards.

  • Computer literacy and ability to use medical imaging systems.
