Penda Health Clinical Officer - Locum Jobs in Kenya;We are looking for caring and smart Clinical Officers to join our team of evidence‑based practitioners. At Penda Health, you will treat patients independently and make your own decisions, supported by guidelines, technology, and clinical mentors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and high‑quality clinical services including history taking, examination, and treatment prescription

  • Order investigations, interpret results, and explain findings and treatment to patients

  • Attend emergencies and recommend referrals for cases beyond clinic capacity

  • Carry out minor surgical procedures as per Penda’s service schedules

  • Ensure observations, vitals, treatments, and procedures are documented in patient charts

  • Create phenomenal patient experiences through counseling and health talks on preventive and promotive health

  • Embrace and develop within an evidence‑based medical system aligned with Penda protocols

  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Branch Manager or Clinical Officer in‑charge

  • Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with medical advances

    Key Requirements & Attributes

  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience after internship

  • Registered with Clinical Officers Council with valid practicing license

  • Diploma, Higher Diploma, or BSc in Clinical Medicine

  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
