  • Reporting to the Head of growth the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager ensures that effective, up to date monitoring and evaluation information is available to enable PEN management to make informed decisions regarding the effectiveness of PEN projects and to enable the accurate reporting of donor impact

    The Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

  • Supports strategy development to include M&E objectives for projects

  • Provides M&E leadership to projects
    Leads in programme System configuration and maintenance.

    Provides M&E training

  • Develops and produces trend analysis reports

  • Identifies lessons learnt and develops case studies to capture achievements of the projects and people groups.

  • Supports the development of project stories for marketing and fundraising, reporting and donor engagement

  • Nurtures a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organisation.

  • Supports donor liaison and reporting

    To be considered for this role you need to have

  • A Tertiary Qualification with a major in Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or relate

  • Strong IT skills with Advanced Excel

  • Project cycle management experience

  • Development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators experience

  • 4 years working experience

  • Report and proposal writing ability

  • BEE reporting knowledge

  • A grasp on Corporate Social Investment and
    reporting

  • Ability to analyse complex problems and develop solutions

  • Systems (“Big picture”) thinking
    Solution driven, flexible and keen to learn attitude

  • A valid driver’s license with driving experience

  • And very good team working skills
