Pearl Hospital Registered Nurse Jobs in Kenya;To provide safe, efficient and patient‑centered nursing care by delivering continuous assessment, advanced patient monitoring, life‑support interventions and evidence‑based nursing care while ensuring patient safety and quality clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical standards.

  • Assess patients, monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in condition.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Assist doctors and healthcare professionals during procedures and examinations.

  • Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, admission and discharge.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.

  • Implement infection prevention and control measures.

  • Educate patients and relatives on treatment, medication, health promotion and discharge instructions.

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions.

  • Ensure proper handling, storage and accountability of medications and supplies.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional nursing ethics.

  • Participate in ward rounds, handovers and multidisciplinary team meetings.

  • Ensure nursing station and patient care areas are clean, safe and well organized.

  • Provide compassionate care and maintain a positive patient experience.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Nurse in Charge or management.

    Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

  • Valid registration and practicing license with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (advantage).

  • At least 5 years’ clinical experience (advantage).

  • Good knowledge of nursing procedures, infection prevention and patient safety.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
