Pearl Hospital Registered Nurse Jobs in Kenya;To provide safe, efficient and patient‑centered nursing care by delivering continuous assessment, advanced patient monitoring, life‑support interventions and evidence‑based nursing care while ensuring patient safety and quality clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical standards.

Assess patients, monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in condition.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Assist doctors and healthcare professionals during procedures and examinations.

Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, admission and discharge.

Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.

Implement infection prevention and control measures.

Educate patients and relatives on treatment, medication, health promotion and discharge instructions.

Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions.

Ensure proper handling, storage and accountability of medications and supplies.

Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional nursing ethics.

Participate in ward rounds, handovers and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Ensure nursing station and patient care areas are clean, safe and well organized.

Provide compassionate care and maintain a positive patient experience.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Nurse in Charge or management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Valid registration and practicing license with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (advantage).

At least 5 years’ clinical experience (advantage).

Good knowledge of nursing procedures, infection prevention and patient safety.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a multidisciplinary team.

Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
