  • Peak Performance International (T) Ltd. on behalf, we are looking for a dynamic and driven sales representative to join the Necst Motors Kenya Ltd team based in Nairobi-Kenya.

  • The role will report to the Sales Manager-Kenya.

  • The main purpose of the role is to sell Premium Trucks effectively and efficiently while aligning to the business strategic and operational objectives.

  • The candidate will be required to sell products to meet targets while adhering to the company’s sales processes, actively drive professional Customer Relationship Management and ensure that customers’ needs are met by liaising closely with the aftersales service team and management. .

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Sales: Actively selling products to achieve targets by driving Necst Motors Kenya Ltd value proposition to the customer.

    • Proactively drive the deal process through all the stages, providing all the necessary documentation to the conclusion.

    • Selling key features and attributes of our products and demonstrating value to our customers.

    • Following up on Customer satisfaction with equipment after closing deals and handing over to after-sales service.

    • Relationship Management: Effective cross-functional Customer Relationship Management where shared objectives are executed flawlessly.

    • Sell products within recommended prices and discounts as per company policy

    • Managing Debtors to within the company credit policy.

    • Managing the selling and stock pipeline process for each order received and updating customers on the status of their order at every stage.

    • Understanding of the market segments and the customers’ requirements, while keeping abreast of changing customer needs and addressing them accordingly.

    Job Description

    • Selling of equipment to both existing and prospective clients and tracking sales on a monthly basis and ensuring that year to date targets have been met as per operational plan.

    • Prospecting for new business while maintaining
    an active database of prospects outlining the product requirements. Managing the prospect pipeline to the deal stage then closing out to a conclusion.
    Acting as a focal point in providing all the necessary paperwork and information that is required by both the customer and the company to close the sales deals.

    • Managing debtors as per the company’s credit policy and ensure all debt payments from customers are collected in a timely manner. Days sales outstanding to be maintained at company approved levels.

    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers while ensuring that the customers’ needs are always known to the company and met accordingly.

    • Building strong working ties with cross-functional teams to ensure that the company and customers’ objectives are met in a timely manner.

    • Implementing commercial strategy by ensuring adherence to pricing and discounting guidelines

    • Carry out sales forecasting of different product lines for respective area of responsibility based on market information and prospective deals.

    • Collect market intelligence data on a monthly basis and share with line manager clearly outlining the Threats oropportunities posed by the information shared.

    • Actively participate in monthly/quarterly review team meetings and present performance of KPIs versus plan, clearly outlining the challenges/opportunities and action plans for achieving the same.

    • Compliance to all company policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Degree or Diploma in Business field or Engineering

    • Must be fluent in English and an effective communicator with customers

    • Strong organization abilities

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales (preferably equipment)

    • Adaptability and willingness to learn with respect to understanding local market/customers

    • Demonstrable ability to influence outcomes

    • Strong Demonstration of value selling, credit management, and deal closing
