Parliamentary Service Commission Inspector II - Buildings Jobs in Kenya


Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry grade for Inspectors (Buildings). An officer at this level will be deployed in small unit to acquire practical experience in the various aspects of the job and will be responsible for;

  • Repair and maintenance of buildings and associated installations including walls, joinery, masonry, architectural fittings, furniture, roofs, painting, car parking, etc

  • Supervision of junior staff working under him.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to the grade of Inspector II (Buildings), a candidate must have attained: -

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, C+ (plus), or its equivalent with a Minimum of C+ (plus) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Sciences and English; and

  • National Ordinary Diploma in Architectural, Building Construction or Civil Engineering from the Kenya National Examinations Council, or other approved equivalent qualification.
