Introduction

Palmhouse Dairy Limited in Githunguri Kiambu is looking to fill the position of 4 Van Sales representatives by 5th of April 2019.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Sales & Marketing or relevant qualification
  • Minimum 2 years experience gained in retail sales of FMCG
  • Holder of a valid driving license with minimum 2 years experience
  • Flexibility with ability to work different shifts/weekends
  • Ready to work with targets

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Selling of all company products at the recommended company prices
  • Develop new clients in the market with a vision to increase the customer base and improving sales turnovers and meet set sales targets
  • Timely order generation sent to the accounts department before close of business to ensure all SKU’s are available in the outlet
  • Establishing and maintaining partnership with the customer for long term business growth by developing a record of their locations and contacts
  • Ensuring indoor and outdoor visibility by putting posters and increasing the shelf share
  • Real time reporting on competitor activities, customer needs and preferences, market trends and growth opportunities
  • Record and respond to customer complaints and where necessary escalate to concern persons
  • Maintain up
    to date sales records and ensure sales monies are deposited in full on a daily basis
  • Ensure products are stored and transported in a manner that maintains zero damages
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly sales report and forecasts
  • Any other duties as assigned by management

    Key Competencies
  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • A good planner; energetic and results driven
    Strong organizational and negotiation skills, and able to respond to questions from internal and external customers
  • Able to uphold high ethical standards
  • Good presentation
  • Team player and able to work under minimum supervision
