Palladium group Malaria Specialists Opportunities in Kenya

Responsible for supporting and providing technical leadership on malaria programming to strengthen outcome measurement, malaria surveillance M$E are use of data to inform decision-making.


S/he support outcome measurement activities and strengthen M$E systems for malaria control In Kenya by working through the S/CHMTs, the county malaria coordinators, and stakeholders to strengthen coordination, integration of approaches are coverage: and used data to support decision making quality Improvement.

Qualifications


  • Post-graduate degree in epidemiology, demography, statistics or infectious disease control (malaria preferred) plus 5 to 8 years' experience in health systems strengthening.
  • Experience waking with county governments and prodding technical assistance to policy makers
  • Experience working with community health workers and commonly lend health services.
  • Relevant experience in data collection, quality control, analysis, are interpretation and/re in using data to identify and meet programm monitoring and evaluation needs and contributing to malaria policies.
  • Demonstrated experience working with DHIS2 and other relevant Kenyan health systems
  • Experience developing information match to support evidence-Informed programming.

    Palladium group Senior Capacity Building Specialist Jobs Opportunities in Kenya


    Responsible for building county-led sustainable systems for long term MLA strengthening and capacity development.


    S/he will coordinate capacity assessments and develop a capacity building plan in consultation which S/CHMTs and further over see implementation and M&E of all capacity building interventions.


    S/he will also work with county-level universities to Integrate project best practices in to training and strengthen outcome measurement and MLA systems

    Qualifications

  • Master's degree In health-related Field. e.g. public health, plan 8 or more years experience, in a leadership position for a USAIO project, a large hospital or other medical fealty, the Kenya MOH.
  • Demonstrated experience working at the county-level,preferably one CHMT
  • Experience leading M$E or health information systems improvement projects, including data quality audits are experience using data to inform strategies for improved clinical/health services
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cohesive team and proven record in effectively managing multidisciplinary, partnerships.
  • experience managing work plans and budgets
