    Based in either Turkana or Kiambu s/he will oversee poky-level work or strengthening MLA governance structures and financing.


    S/he will be responsible for ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement at the county level and work to support the Implementation of county plans to strengthen policies, systems, and governance structures for outcome measurement and MLA system strengthening.


    S/he will provide technical assistance are support to the county leadership, primarily the CHMT and CDOH but also the elected and executive Government of Kenya civil society, and health system actors.


    Qualifications


  • Master's Degree higher in public health, economics, noble policy, or a related ethical degree plus 5 to 7 years experience in applied health governance.
  • Extensive experience supporting decentralization or legislative reforms in East Africa and/or Kenya (Including increased transparency, accountability, and citizen participation In systems monitoring end performance).
  • Demonstrated success providing technical assistance to national and sub-national government counterparts and civil society organizations.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build consensus aches diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Experience in died relationship management, reporting and international program work planning, budgeting, financial management and Implementation is preferred

  • Demonstrated experience working at the county-level, preferred on a CHMT
  • Experience using data to inform intervention/strategies for improved clinical/public health services.
  • Demonstrated leadership, ethics, and sound judgement both Independently and as pedal a team.
  • Experience managing wore plans and budgets.
