The Role:
Job Details;
• The primary responsibility of this position is to provide overall leadership and management of the OPM-RRF funded project. S/he supports Oxfam's impact locally, regionally, continentally and globally through ensuring program alignment to the key strategic objectives and program standards. The Project Manager supports resource mobilization, specifically for the Arua programme and ensures the promotion of gender and women's rights in all program work in the field.
Job Requirement;
• This position will require a range of skills and experience including a Degree in Engineering with a bias in WASH programming & Public Health, eight (8) years' experience in managing and designing WASH infrastructure. Extensive knowledge and experience working in emergency humanitarian response and development programs in reputable INGOs.
• A strategic thinker with demonstrable analytical, conceptual, influencing, team/people & budget management and communication skills, ability to build (and work with) credible partnerships/relationships with other stakeholders like international and local organizations, government and the local community, build capacity and provide an enabling environment for learning and knowledge management. Familiar with humanitarian principles, Standards and different donor requirements, knowledge and experience integrating gender and diversity in programmes.
