The GROW campaign is about transforming the world’s broken food system so that it works for everyone.

It is also about ensuring that the system is fit for a future where unequal access to natural resources and environmental challenges such as climate change, will make feeding the world even harder.

This role will lead Oxfam’s policy and advocacy strategy development on climate change issues.

Our next Climate Change Policy Lead will require a range of skills and experience.

You will have significant experience of successful policy, advocacy and research work in a campaigning context and demonstrable experience of impactful work on climate change issues/campaigns.

You will be able to demonstrate clear understanding of all campaigning tactics and have worked with community groups/marginalised peoples.

You will have experience in people management- supporting your team’s professional development, as well as informal leadership skills- being able to influence effectively in a matrixed environment.

Experience of developing and managing budgets is also a prerequisite. You will also have demonstrable ability to ‘speak truth to power’, addressing and analysing power imbalances.
