Job Overview

  • Take the lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new engineering projects to create and nurture business opportunities.

    Specific Responsibilities and Duties

  • Writing proposal and presenting proposed building projects

  • Preparing financial and technical proposals of projects

  • Devising strategies for driving sales growth across the business.

  • Preparing feasibility studies and business plans as needed.

  • Working closely with architects and engineers on projects

  • Analyzing existing approaches to the development of business and making changes where appropriate.

  • Setting targets for new business development for the business development managers and executives.

  • Implementing new business initiatives across the new business and sales teams.

  • Working closely with members of the team to generate new business within large accounts.

  • Identifying sales opportunities as a result of market changes.

  • Setting up meetings with prospective customers to sell the company’s products and services.

  • Implementing sales incentives to drive sales performance within the team.

  • Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing networks.

  • Negotiating contracts with customers and ensuring their profitability.

  • Working with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business teams.

  • Monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery.

  • Performs other incidental duties assigned by the Business Development Head.

    Job Requirements

    Job Qualifications and Skills

  • Bsc degree in Civil engineering/Architecture or related field

  • 4 and above years of work experience

  • Working knowledge of design, construction and other related aspects

  • Good Professional, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to combine the business and engineering disciplines

  • Solid analytical skills and computer proficiency

  • Planning: ability to perform short and long-range planning

  • Excellent program and time management skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
