Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily theater activities, ensuring smooth scheduling, efficient patient flow and proper use of surgical equipment.

Enforce stringent infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols, ensuring all surgical procedures adhere to regulations.

Ensure compliance with all quality control protocols.

Act as a role model, providing guidance, training and mentorship to nursing staff and students.

Monitor, order and manage inventory of all surgical supplies, ensuring availability for procedures.

Liaise between surgeons, anaesthetists and other support staff to create a productive team environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in a leadership role in a level 4 and above hospital.

Higher diploma in perioperative nursing.

Valid practicing license.

High integrity and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.
