Our client, a leading multinational non-governmental organization is seeking to hire an energetic and result oriented Organization Development Advisor who has demonstrated the ability to perform well.

The Organization Development Advisor will oversee the leadership development, roll-out the feminist leadership approach, participate in framing of the organisational culture and support all initiatives related to employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review previous programs and existing learning material
  • Design of an effective management and leadership development framework which supports the organisational strategy and priorities
  • Define, together with the leadership team some of the key leadership competencies for the organization (collaboration, negotiation, conflict management)
  • Design of the learning outcomes, using effective and progressive learning approaches as a guideline
    Ratification of program
  • Roll-out
  • Monitoring of learning effectiveness and application of skill
  • Support program for ongoing application of skill (mentorship, coaching etc)
  • Championing all activities related to senior leadership development
  • Program design and peer support
  • Design and roll-out of a training program for boards, senior management as well as alternative program (e-learning) where appropriate
    Integration of feminist leadership into other HR processes, in partnership with the HR community (recruitment, skills development, induction and on boarding)
  • Participate in the ongoing discussion and framing of the organisational culture
  • Culture assessment
  • Design of the relevant initiatives in line with cultural gaps, or aspired
    culture
  • Tracking of progress and ongoing interventions
    effective integration of new joiners into the organization
  • Design of effective tools for integration
  • Measurement of employee integration
  • Support the HR community with best practices in the area of employee engagement,
  • Support for new line managers
  • Support program for matrix management, and navigating the complexity of the organization

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organization Development/ Human Resource Management or any related field
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Certificate in Microsoft office (MS Excel and MS word)
  • Training of Trainers Certificate
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Change management Skills
  • Team player
