Orchid HR Outsourcing Forklift &Wheel Loader Operator Jobs in Kenya;Our client seeks safety‑conscious, certified Forklift and Wheel Loader Operators to support fertilizer terminal operations at the Mombasa warehouse. The successful candidates will handle safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading and stacking of bagged and bulk fertilizer products across vessel unloading, warehouse and truck‑loading areas, working to strict throughput and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport fertilizer products, pallets and equipment per shift schedules or dispatch instructions.

  • Operate forklifts and wheel loaders safely to load, unload, transport, stack and store bagged fertilizer.

  • Support vessel unloading and truck‑loading operations, including sling (Big Bag) loads.

  • Load/unload trucks and trailers; stack and stage goods per warehouse standards.

  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.

  • Maintain safe distances, follow traffic marshalling and site limits.

  • Achieve throughput targets while maintaining stacking standards and housekeeping.

  • Keep accurate logs, assist with inventory counts and complete tally sheets.

  • Support general warehouse tasks during peak operations.

  • Park, secure, refuel/recharge and clean equipment at end of shift.

  • Identify and report workplace safety hazards; adhere to PPE requirements.

  • Perform other duties as
    assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or management.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum KCSE certificate or equivalent.

  • At least 3 years’ continuous forklift/wheel loader experience in port, terminal, warehouse or manufacturing.

  • Prior fertilizer, bulk commodity or port operations experience advantageous.

  • Familiarity with warehouse layouts, stacking standards and inventory control.

  • Strong hand‑eye coordination, attention to detail and safety mindset.

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including 11–12 hour high‑season shifts with overtime.

    Mandatory Certifications

  • Valid NTSA or equivalent forklift/wheel loader operator certification (mandatory).

  • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
