    About the role:

  • We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator who will solely be responsible for overseeing all our projects in terms of budgeting, liaison with suppliers and any other stakeholder. The ideal person must have project management experience and must have at least 5 years in project management preferably in an automotive company. He/she must also have experience handling large projects over $10M and handling tenders across Africa.

    Key Duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.

  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.

  • Liaise with suppliers and any other stakeholder to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.

  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.

  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.

  • Help prepare budgets.

  • Analyze risks and opportunities.

  • Oversee project procurement management.

  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.

  • Act as the point of contact and communicate
    project status to all participants.

  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.

  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement).

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.

    Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5 years working experience in Project Management.

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Project Management/ Business Management or any other business related course.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must have excellent time management skills and good in planning.

  • Must have excellent leadership skills.

  • Must possess the ability to multitask.

  • Must be proficient with Excel and Word.

  • Must have previous experience working with an ERP system.
