Job Description

Given the continued growth and future expansion of Dashen Breweries, the following opportunity exist.
Purpose of the job:
To develop, implement and manage business and financial plans for the Warehouse and Depot operations in order to satisfy customers service needs and optimize, develop and safeguard resources and eliminate waste.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of warehouse and depot distribution
Manage the operational peak and off-peak execution processes;
Monitor stock aging in the various regions, and ensure an even stock age profile is at every Warehouse;
Follow up RTM Implementation with high involvement in developing distributors, and sales team, market prioritization, mapping and demand modeling.
Ensure adequate sales systems and standards are emplaced for all sales activities.
Authorise/approve exceptional requests (emergency deliveries);
Ensure warehouse layout and optimisation conducted at least once a year;
Analysis of “out of stock” reason codes
and drive implementation of improvement initiatives
Ensure integration between production schedules and the distribution plans;
Ensure order fill rate, Inventory availability at Warehouse level, logistics spent vs budget; Stock aging of the Warehouse; Customer Surveys; Internal customer survey (Distribution, KDs, etc.) performance indicators are managed
Conduct periodic reviews with distribution partners that include scorecards with goal metrics to improve service levels and reduce total logistics costs;
Lead and coach and develop warehouse managers and depot supervisors
Develop and implement strategies and policies to meet business requirements, tactical and strategic results;
Location Based in Addis Ababa and frequent travel to Plants and sales region
Required Qualification and Experience:
BA Degree in Sales and Marketing management, Business management and related fields
Minimum six years’ of experience in sales operational areas and sales analysis in beverage industry.
Experience in developing sales and logistics strategy.
