One Acre Fund Tupande Extension and Aggregation Supervisor Jobs in Kenya ; The Extension and Aggregation Supervisor – Roaming serves as the primary operational link between Tupande and the farming communities. This is a frontline, customer‑facing role responsible for delivering high‑quality extension services, ensuring farmer compliance with market and certification standards, and driving efficient aggregation operations.

Responsibilities

Market Readiness & Compliance

Develop a deep understanding of evolving market, buyer, and certification requirements for avocado and macadamia (and future crops as assigned).

Guide farmers in meeting food safety, hygiene, and health standards.

Maintain updated and accurate production, training, and compliance records across all assigned territories.

Farmer Training & Extension Services

Train farmers and farmer groups on crop production best practices, pest and disease intervention methods, and quality standards.

Lead training on certification requirements and prepare farmers for audits.

Carry out regular farm visits, risk assessments, and crop scouting.

Certification Preparation & Support

Coordinate certification timelines, training sessions, inspections, and audits.

Ensure farmers maintain compliance and continuously improve standards.

Aggregation, Sourcing & Logistics Enablement

Act as a roaming aggregation agent, supporting multiple zones.

Identify avocado and macadamia farmers and direct them appropriately.

Support harvesting planning, coordination with logistics teams, and export alignment.

Direct macadamia farmers to designated buying centers and support procurement.

Ensure timely aggregation, farmer readiness, and efficient product flow.

Support optimization of buying centers and sourcing processes.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

Prepare clear, timely reports detailing field activities, certification progress, and farmer status.

Build and grow a strong farmer base by achieving recruitment and compliance targets.

Provide field intelligence

to inform procurement and market access strategies.

Mobility & Flexibility

Cover multiple territories as assigned, acting as a roaming agent.

Adapt to location changes including temporary reassignment.

Support cross‑regional collaboration and step into new areas quickly.

Additional Duties

Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager in line with operational objectives.

Qualifications

Two (2)+ years’ work experience in an agricultural related field.

Knowledge of the avocado and macadamia value chain is appreciated.

Track record in planning field activities and troubleshooting issues.

Ability to coordinate teams for harvesting and sourcing from smallholders.

Passionate about serving smallholder farmers.
