One Acre Fund Tupande Electrical Maintenance Officer Jobs in Kenya;To execute hands‑on electrical and instrumentation maintenance work across production lines under the direction of Production Coordinators and Supervisors, ensuring maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

  • Monitor assigned pyrolysis line for electrical faults, unusual sounds, or abnormal conditions.

  • Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns; diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and restore production quickly.

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as directed by Production Coordinators.

  • Execute thorough cleaning of the production line, unclogging blockages during stoppages to maximize uptime.

  • Participate fully in planned maintenance windows under Coordinator direction.

  • Record all faults, repairs, parts used, and time‑to‑repair in the maintenance log.

  • Communicate open or ongoing maintenance issues clearly during shift handover.

  • Strictly follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety procedures before working on equipment.

  • Notify Production Coordinators of recurring faults, parts shortages, or risks requiring planning attention.

    Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or processing environments.

  • Experience with high‑temperature processing equipment, conveyors, combustion systems, or biomass machinery is an advantage.

  • Practical skills in electrical fault diagnosis; mechanical fault diagnosis preferred.

  • Familiarity with LOTO procedures and electrical safety standards.

    Other Requirements
  • Willingness to work rotating 9‑hour shifts, including nights.

  • Physically capable of working in hot, dusty industrial environments, including regular production line walkthroughs.
