One Acre Fund Trees Execution Specialist Jobs in Nigeria;We are seeking a Trees Execution Specialist to lead operational excellence across One Acre Fund’s Nigeria tree programs. Based in Minna, Niger State, the role will drive data management, expansion mapping, process optimization, and team leadership to ensure high‑quality seedling production, farmer enrollment, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Data Management

  • Own and maintain operational data protocols across seedling production, enrollment, and distribution.

  • Design and maintain advanced dashboards to track KPIs, inventory, and performance.

  • Analyze data to identify bottlenecks, forecast capacity, and drive decision‑making.

  • Ensure data integrity, standardization, and seamless reporting across sites.

    Expansion Mapping & Scaling

  • Lead expansion mapping efforts internally and into new states.

  • Conduct feasibility and logistical assessments for nursery locations.

  • Standardize operational launch playbooks for rapid setup of new nurseries.

    Process Optimization

  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost reductions year‑on‑year.

  • Identify and integrate field technology solutions (e.g., mobile tracking, GIS mapping).

  • Audit field operations regularly to eliminate waste and improve logistics.

    Cross‑Functional Execution

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Expansion, and Tech teams.

  • Manage vendor, logistics, and procurement relationships.

  • Map and mitigate operational risks affecting timelines, delivery, or cost efficiency.

    Team Leadership & Talent Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve operational targets.

  • Create SOPs and conduct training on data tools and lean practices.

  • Conduct bi‑annual performance reviews and foster accountability.

  • Support recruitment and lead execution of recruitment plans.

  • Potentially oversee field operations at regional level (one or two states).

    Qualifications

  • 3+ years
    of relevant professional experience, including team leadership.

  • Experience implementing projects at field level.

  • University degree in Agricultural Economics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Agroforestry, International Development, or related field.

  • Preferred: Project Management Certification.

  • Advanced data analysis and dashboarding skills (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel).

  • Strong understanding of operational cost drivers and efficiency metrics.

  • Experience with mobile data collection platforms (CommCare, ODK, Kobo).

  • Proven track record in logistics, inventory, and distribution management.

  • Strategic problem‑solving and pragmatic decision‑making skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead dispersed teams.

  • Highly organised, self‑driven, and adept at managing multi‑state timelines.

  • Strong communication skills bridging technical, operational, and executive priorities.
