One Acre Fund Tree Implementation and Audit intern Jobs in Tanzania; Seeking Tree Audit Interns to support tree implementation, conduct field audits, verify program data, and strengthen accountability across field operations.

Responsibilities

Field & Production Auditing

  • Conduct nursery and seedling audits to verify production numbers, seedling quality, and distribution of farming inputs.

  • Audit farmer enrolment data, verifying identities, orders, and payment records through calls and field visits.

  • Cross‑check seedling distribution records to ensure accuracy and investigate discrepancies.

  • Conduct carbon credit and beneficiary audits to ensure reporting accuracy for certification.

    Implementation & Data Support

  • Manage data entry of enrolment forms and seedling distribution logistics.

  • Collect and verify Transportation Management System (TMS) forms to ensure dispatch and receipt accuracy.

  • Draft audit reports, document findings, and present actionable recommendations to management.

    Career Growth & Development

  • Weekly check‑ins with manager, mentorship, and training.

  • Regular feedback and career reviews every 1–3 months.

  • Opportunities to shape a growing organization and gain technical experience.

    Qualifications

  • Minimum Certificate qualification (any field; agriculture, forestry, or environmental studies preferred).

  • Tech‑savvy; comfortable with computers, emails, and mobile data collection.

  • Detail‑oriented with strong ability to spot inconsistencies.

  • Active and mobile; willing to spend time in the field.

    Preferred Start Date

    As soon as possible.
