One Acre Fund Tech Specialist Jobs in Nigeria ; The Tech Specialist owns end‑to‑end technical delivery of field and internal solutions.

You will use approved AI coding tools and development agents to accelerate architecture, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Software Development (40%)

  • Design, build and maintain mobile, web, backend and data solutions.

  • Develop reliable digital workflows for online and offline use.

  • Build scalable features supporting operational and business needs.

  • Integrate systems, data and services for seamless user experience.

    Architecture & Data (20%)

  • Contribute to technical architecture and platform evolution.

  • Design secure, scalable data models, APIs and integration patterns.

  • Ensure reliable data synchronization and validation.

    Engineering Productivity & AI (10%)

  • Support platform growth from deployment to scale.

  • Use AI‑assisted engineering tools to improve delivery speed and quality.

  • Apply strong engineering standards for code quality and documentation.

  • Review and validate code before production release.

    Security, Quality & Reliability (20%)

  • Follow secure software development and data‑protection practices.

  • Implement access controls, monitoring and safeguards.

  • Maintain automated testing and deployment processes.

  • Support reliable releases, performance, issue resolution and recovery.

    Collaboration & Delivery (10%)

  • Translate product and business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with product, design, operations and stakeholders.

  • Support testing, pilots, launches and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain clear technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

  • Weekly check‑ins with manager, mentorship and training programs.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or
    equivalent.

  • 6+ years’ professional software engineering experience; 3+ years delivering production full‑stack applications.

  • Advanced full‑stack engineering across mobile, web, backend, databases and cloud.

  • Strong experience with Flutter, React Native, Kotlin or Android frameworks.

  • Strong experience with React, Next.js, Vue or Angular.

  • Backend experience with TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C#/.NET, Go or similar.

  • Experience with cloud deployment, containers, CI/CD, monitoring and automation.

  • Ability to implement automated unit, integration, API, mobile and end‑to‑end tests.

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools safely and productively.

  • Strong technical documentation and knowledge‑transfer skills.
