One Acre Fund Soko Chief of Staff Jobs in Zambia; As the Soko Chief of Staff (CoS), you will provide execution support to the Market Access Director, coordinate team-wide communications, and propel special projects. This role requires a versatile generalist motivated by results, with strong leadership and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Strategic Projects & Execution

Collaborate with Market Access Director and senior leadership to develop and implement strategies.

Lead time-bound initiatives (product launches, investor engagements, organizational restructuring).

Step in as project lead on critical initiatives.

Provide analytical support for new business opportunities or expansion decisions.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Processing teams to resolve bottlenecks.

Work with customer-facing teams to maintain service standards and identify improvements.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

Manage OKR design, KPI reporting, and provide updates to senior management.

Establish operational control environment promoting ethical and responsible behaviour.

Team Management & Talent

Support direct reports in professional development and daily work.

Build team capacity through strategic hiring.

Act as liaison between customer-facing staff and senior leadership.

Process Improvement

Identify and streamline bottlenecks in internal operations.

Manage tracking of key departmental controls.

Weekly check-ins with manager, mentorship and training programs.

Regular feedback and career reviews every six months.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Suite equivalents).

Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.

Data analysis and performance management systems.

Knowledge

Business operations, supply chain, and agribusiness experience.

Understanding of East African agricultural markets and smallholder farmer dynamics.

Familiarity with One Acre Fund’s operating model and Soko’s approach to farmer impact.
