About the RoleThe Field Operations Systems Lead plays an important role in TUBURA’s continued commitment to providing all of our clients with great customer service, ensuring that processes in our Core program are in place to guarantee smooth input and product distributions.
The Field Operations Systems Lead works with many TUBURA team members, including colleagues in TUBURA Systems & Government Relations Divisions, in identifying challenges and opportunities to improve our effectiveness on the ground.
As the Field Operations Systems Lead, you will know the field very well and work at TUBURA Head Quarters in Rubengera.
As the Field Operations Systems Lead, you will:
Manage the Field Operations Systems Specialist and the Field Operations Integration Specialist
Report to the Field Operations Execution Lead
Develop strategies and models to ensure input and product deliveries are effective and improved season after season
Lead discussions on input/product distribution processes and models, subsidy compliance, and field team materials regarding our Core program
Oversee procurement and distribution of field team materials (physical and digital) and improve the quality and usage of such materials
Coordinate the planning of input distributions together with relevant team members, and oversee the coordination of integrated trial products
Work with different teams in execution, program growth, innovations, logistics, business operations, customer engagement, government relations, innovations and procurement for different projects

Qualifications
For this role specifically, you will have:
4+ years of experience designing and coordinating medium to large field projects
Project management skills for medium to large projects
Intermediate Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) / google sheets skills
Capability to resolve complex problems and design creative solutions
Demonstrate high-quality work
Experience managing a team
Committed to helping your team grow
Experience with field work and working with field teams
Passionate about serving smallholder farmers and living in rural areas
Integrity and responsibility
