One Acre Fund Retail supervisor Jobs in Tanzania ; This role is responsible for managing One Acre Fund shops (Dukas) and assisting customers with purchasing agri-related merchandise through mobile payments. The Retail Supervisor ensures sustainable shop operations, excellent customer service, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Manage a One Acre Fund Duka

Maintain a tidy shopping environment and welcoming atmosphere.

Ensure products are displayed in an appealing manner to drive sales.

Present professionalism and personal cleanliness.

Market & Sell Impactful Products

Consult with customers to understand needs and preferences.

Demonstrate and explain merchandise, suggesting suitable options.

Drive sales with product knowledge and enthusiasm.

Manage Duka Inventory

Ensure excellent inventory management in compliance with TOSCI, TPHPA, and TFRA regulations.

Restock and organize merchandise.

Manage Duka Transactions

Train and process customer payments through mobile payments.

Manage receipts and transactions in compliance with TRA regulations.

Ensure accurate record-keeping of products received, sold, and remaining.

Provide Excellent Customer Service

Deliver exceptional service to encourage repeat visits and loyalty.

Respond to customer needs with tailored guidance and recommendations.

Treat customers with respect and courtesy.

Build & Maintain Relationships

Create support for One Acre Fund with local leaders (VEOs, agricultural

extension officers).

Attend and participate in sales meetings or trainings as approved by manager.

Weekly check-ins with manager, access to mentorship and training programs.

Regular performance feedback and career reviews every six months.

Qualifications

Diploma in agriculture, marketing, or social sciences (preferred).

At least 2 years of experience in retail operations, preferably rural.

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Experience working in team-oriented environments.

Fluent in Swahili.

Technology proficiency: recording sales, inputting information, retrieving reports on smartphone/tablet, using USSD codes, handling mobile money payments.
