One Acre Fund Quality Engineering Intern Jobs in Kenya;The Quality Engineer role drives the quality, reliability, and usability of delivered solutions and improves the processes that uphold technical best practices. Likely to own quality for many complex services.

Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis

  • Identify and integrate quality assurance parameters throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Contribute to backlog grooming to refine user stories with technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and test cases.

    Quality Assurance

  • Establish processes for collecting value‑driven quality measurement and SLA monitoring.

  • Create reports on product quality metrics to inform stakeholder decisions.

    Streamlined Testing

  • Source feedback and performance metrics directly from field staff/users.

  • Create and manage test frameworks; set and achieve test coverage goals.

  • Automate testing in CI/CD pipelines.

  • Prepare, refine, and track test plans and cases.

    Quality Control

  • Introduce latest industry standards and regulations for software quality control.

  • Identify technical problems and drive resolution.

  • Document work to ensure replicability across services.

    Troubleshooting Production Issues

  • Isolate and track bugs throughout testing and product support.

  • Record solution deficiencies based on technical guides and quality reports.

  • Weekly check‑ins with manager, mentorship, training, and regular feedback.
