One Acre Fund Payments & Reconciliation Transformation Lead Jobs in Rwanda ;Seeking an experienced finance professional with 8+ years of expertise to lead reconciliation and payments transformation, improve operational controls, and partner across global teams to build scalable, technology‑enabled finance operations.

Responsibilities

Champion Automation & Innovation

  • Own strategy and execution for bank reconciliation automation.

  • Partner with tech, treasury, and regional teams to integrate tools into ERP systems.

  • Transform manual tasks into streamlined, automated processes.

    Fortify Payment Controls

  • Design and standardize robust vendor reconciliation systems.

  • Investigate complex transactions to eliminate duplicate payments and resolve aged balances.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

    Manage Risk & Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and design corrective action plans.

  • Keep teams audit‑ready and enforce SOPs.

  • Act as gatekeeper of financial policies.

    Empower & Grow a Talented Team

  • Mentor, coach, and develop finance professionals.

  • Build team capabilities and recruit new talent.

    Step Up as a Deputy Leader

  • Act as strategic deputy to Payments & Treasury leadership.

  • Lead cross‑functional projects and ensure operational continuity.

    Career Growth & Development

  • Weekly check‑ins, mentorship, and training programs.

  • Regular feedback and career reviews every six months.

    Qualifications

  • Certified CPA or ACCA Finalist (mandatory).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.

  • 6–8 years’ progressive experience in finance operations, treasury, payments, or financial controls.

  • Expertise in bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Advanced hands‑on experience with modern ERP systems.

  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with ability to build dynamic reports.
