One Acre Fund Government Relations and Program Support Coordinator Jobs in Ethiopia
One Acre Fund Ethiopia; seeks a Government Relations (GR) & Program Support Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison with zonal and woreda Offices of Agriculture and other government stakeholders across Hadiya and Kembata Zones. The Coordinator will strengthen partnerships, support program expansion, and de‑risk field engagements through compliance management, staff training, and active information gathering. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations and reduced risks for staff and farmers.
Responsibilities
Manage Government Relationships
Serve as day‑to‑day liaison with woreda/zonal focal persons and government stakeholders.
Resolve stakeholder issues at woreda/kebele levels in collaboration with program staff.
Participate in weekly cluster lead meetings and government alignment meetings.
Attend government meetings as directed by Senior Partnerships Associate.
Identify opportunities to expand or improve One Acre Fund’s work.
Prepare and submit quarterly, mid‑term, and terminal reports to signatory offices.
Draft outgoing letters and ensure compliance with government requirements.
Monitor Woreda Support
Track woreda focal persons’ and DAs’ support to OAF activities weekly.
Evaluate results and resolve issues with government stakeholders.
Ensure roles and responsibilities are fulfilled per agreements.
Troubleshoot GR challenges with escalation as needed.
Organize Trainings & Meetings
Provide GR capacity‑building trainings annually.
Support onboarding of new woreda/kebele employees.
Co‑lead project launch, mid‑term, and terminal workshops.
Facilitate field visits and
stakeholder events.
Other Projects
Support special projects (data entry, translations, inventory, input/seedling distribution).
Provide administrative support as needed.

Qualifications
University degree.
Minimum 3 years’ work experience (1 year in partnerships/communications).
Lived/worked in Central Ethiopia region for at least 2 years.
Experience facilitating workshops and delivering training/public speaking.
Strong report writing, communication, and social skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
Willingness to travel via public transport to remote kebeles.
Good computer skills (email, Excel, Word).
