One Acre Fund Finance Associate Jobs in Uganda; You will support the Uganda program with financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting to inform decision‑making. You will also collaborate with the Grants Finance team to oversee financial aspects of Uganda‑focused grants, including budgeting, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead development and continuous update of 5‑year rolling forecasts and financial models.
Ensure alignment on financial, operational, and impact assumptions between Country Director and Global Finance.
Act as primary financial advisor for strategic initiatives, providing recommendations backed by sensitivity analyses.
Direct monthly financial reporting and Budget vs. Actual (BVA) processes.
Provide targeted analysis and performance updates to senior leadership.
Grants Management
Direct lifecycle of grants, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Oversee accurate reporting and enhance tracking systems.
Lead donor budget reports and forecasts; monitor grant spending.
Manage fund flow models to guarantee operational liquidity.
Act as liaison between Finance, Field, and Fundraising teams.
Compliance & Control
Lead preparation and timely filing of Uganda‑specific tax returns and statutory obligations.
Serve
as primary contact for internal and external audits.
Strengthen financial integrity by identifying control weaknesses and risk exposures.
Partner with leadership to drive process improvements and governance frameworks.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Over 4 years’ progressive experience in finance, consulting, or strategic advisory.
Full professional qualification in ACCA or CPA (U).
Experience managing multi‑currency grants from major donors.
Fluency in Power BI and Google Sheets; intermediate Excel modeling skills.
Proven ability to architect complex financial models and leverage data visualization.
