One Acre Fund Chief of Staff Jobs in Nigeria; This role will lead the execution of the Country Director’s strategic agenda and drive organisational effectiveness across the entire country program. The Chief of Staff acts as a primary strategic architect and operational lead, ensuring key priorities are implemented at scale, requiring advanced cross‑functional influence and ownership of critical, high‑risk initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Support & Leadership Enablement

  • Serve as principal strategic advisor to the Country Director, providing analysis, insights, and recommendations.

  • Translate organisational strategy into actionable execution plans with rigorous accountability.

  • Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across departments to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

  • Conduct research and industry analysis to inform executive decision‑making.

    Executive Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate strategic communication and decision‑making between the Country Director and senior leadership.

  • Manage relationships with donors, government partners, and strategic allies as a representative of the Country Director.

    High‑Impact Project Leadership

  • Own and sponsor cross‑functional projects from conception to delivery.

  • Lead multi‑team initiatives with accountability frameworks and milestone tracking.

  • Establish systems to monitor organisation‑wide progress against priorities.

    Organisational Governance & Executive Operations

  • Direct operational efficiency of the Country Director’s office.

  • Develop and quality‑control executive reports, presentations, and briefing materials.

  • Drive preparation and follow‑up for Board and senior leadership meetings.

    Executive Assistance & Administration

  • Screen and prioritise incoming requests and communications.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Weekly check‑ins with manager, mentorship, and training programmes.

  • Regular feedback and career reviews every six months.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, Development Studies, or related field
    (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum 5+ years in strategic support, project management, and executive operations.

  • Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, high‑growth operations, social enterprise, or international development.

  • Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership to drive execution and results.

  • Ability to translate and analyse organisational strategy with critical insights.

  • Strong conceptual and operational execution skills.

  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking with ability to diagnose challenges and implement large‑scale improvements.
