Ole Sereni Hotel Polisher - Spray Painter Jobs in Nairobi - Kenya

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining and repairing painted, wall covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structure, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel.

Qualifications

Trade test π on painting and interior finishes
Previous experience in Maintenance as a painter is required

Must have basic knowledge of drywall repair, painting of all types and ability to match texture

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy

Responsibilities

Maintains the general paint work in and on the hotel

Ensures paint job locations are maintained in a safe and clean manner, while remaining focused on providing excellent customer service

Perform general repairs and assigned maintenance duties in a satisfactory and timely manner

Respond to complaints or problems from guests or other departments in a timely manner

Keep tools and maintenance equipment clean and secure

Advise the Engineering Supervisor/Chief Engineer where his professional advice is required.

To participate in any training/development schemes required by management

Perform other duties as assigned by the

Engineering Supervisor/Chief Engineer

Participate in the hotel’s social responsibility programme

adhere to strict grooming and hygiene standards

To follow the house rules and policies laid down by the management

To comply with company regulations as stipulated in staff handbook, regarding uniform, timekeeping and general conduct.

To comply with any statutory and legal requirement for fire, licensing, health and safety and to ensure that you are working in accordance with these requirements

Job Requirements

Required education: Diploma, Associate's degree

Required relevant work experience: 12 months

Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
