Old Mutual Kenya Senior Servicing Officer - Life Business Jobs in Kenya;The Senior Servicing Officer oversees complex scheme servicing operations within the Group Life and Credit Life portfolio. The role ensures accurate execution of endorsements, member updates and servicing transactions, while supporting quality assurance, mentorship of junior officers and client engagement.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Review and approve complex scheme endorsements, benefit changes and member movements.

  • Validate policy documentation (schedules, certificates, debit notes) before dispatch.

  • Reconcile scheme data with schedules and premium remittances; escalate discrepancies.

  • Provide technical support and training to junior officers.

  • Coordinate with underwriting, claims, retention and reinsurance teams.

  • Respond to routine and escalated client/broker servicing queries.

  • Participate in servicing reviews and audits; ensure audit readiness.

  • Generate periodic reports on SLA adherence, scheme performance and pending tasks.

  • Ensure compliance with AML, DPA, Insurance Act and IRA guidelines.

  • Escalate irregularities related to client data per compliance protocols.

    Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of life insurance operations and administration workflows.

  • Leadership and quality assurance skills.

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.

  • Analytical ability to assess service trends and recommend improvements.

  • Proficiency in policy administration systems and Excel.

    Knowledge & Experience

  • 3 – 4 years’ experience in group life administration or corporate servicing.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or business‑related field.

  • Professional insurance qualification (AIIK, ACII, LOMA).
