Oasis Healthcare Pharmaceutical Technologist - Siaya Jobs in Kenya;To support the pharmacist in the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, ensuring patients receive the correct drugs at the right dose, while maintaining proper pharmaceutical records, stock controls and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines to patients.

  • Provide correct dosage instructions and educate patients on safe medicine use.

  • Counsel patients on side effects, drug interactions and storage of medicines.

  • Ensure rational drug use in line with treatment guidelines.

  • Receive, verify and record incoming pharmaceutical supplies.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of essential medicines.

  • Prevent stock‑outs, overstocking and expiries through proper inventory control.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement and generate periodic reports.

  • Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations.

  • Maintain hygiene, safety and confidentiality standards in the pharmacy.

  • Participate in pharmacovigilance by reporting adverse drug reactions and poor‑quality medicines.

  • Assist in preparing orders and liaising with suppliers for replenishment.

  • Support audits, inspections and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to departmental reports, data collection and performance reviews.

    Job Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.

  • Valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical or supply chain setup (hospital, pharmacy or warehouse).

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, stock management and regulatory guidelines.

  • Excellent communication, counseling and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
