Oasis Healthcare Pharmaceutical Technologist Jobs in Kenya; The Pharmaceutical Technologist will support the pharmacist in the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, ensuring patients receive the correct drugs at the right dose. The role also involves maintaining proper pharmaceutical records, stock controls, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines.

  • Provide dosage instructions and educate patients on safe medicine use.

  • Counsel patients on side effects, drug interactions, and storage.

  • Ensure rational drug use in line with treatment guidelines.

  • Receive, verify, and record incoming pharmaceutical supplies.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of essential medicines.

  • Prevent stock‑outs, overstocking, and expiries through inventory control.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement and generate reports.

  • Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations.

  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and confidentiality standards in the pharmacy.

  • Participate in pharmacovigilance by reporting adverse drug reactions.

  • Assist in preparing orders and liaising with suppliers for replenishment.

  • Support audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement.

  • Contribute to departmental reports and performance reviews.

    Job Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
    from a recognized institution.

  • Valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical or supply chain setup (hospital, pharmacy, or warehouse).

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, stock management, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.

  • High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
