Oasis Healthcare Management Consultancy Limited Medical Oncologist Jobs in Kenya; The Medical Oncologist will provide expert clinical care to cancer patients in a multidisciplinary
team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive oncology care, including cancer diagnosis, staging, and treatment
planning.

2. Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and prognosis.

3. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and manage side effects of cancer
therapies.

4. Perform diagnostic procedures such as biopsies and Bone marrow aspiration to diagnose
patients with cancer.

5. Provide palliative care and manage symptoms for advanced-stage cancer patients.

6. Participate in clinical research and clinical trials to advance oncology care.

7. Supervise the safe administration of chemotherapy and ensure adherence to established
protocols.

8. Facilitate access to support services such as counseling, nutritional advice, and
rehabilitation.

9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff, nurses, and allied health
professionals involved in oncology care.

10. Participate in training sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing the skills of the
oncology team.

Qualifications

1. MBChB from a recognized institution.

2. Master’s Degree in Medical/Clinical Oncology

3. Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

4. Valid Practice License

5. Professional Insurance Indemnity Cover.
