Oasis Healthcare Hospital Administrator - Kakamega Jobs in Kenya ;The Hospital Administrator will provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the facility, ensuring efficient service delivery, financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, quality and patient safety, positive patient experience, staff performance and achievement of the facility’s strategic and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and coordination of day‑to‑day facility operations.
Drive achievement of operational, financial, quality, patient experience and growth targets.
Develop, implement and monitor operational plans, budgets and performance improvement initiatives.
Monitor revenue performance, expenditure, collections, cost control and resource utilization; take corrective action on variances.
Identify and implement opportunities for revenue growth, service expansion, efficiency and business development.
Ensure adequate staffing, workforce deployment, discipline, performance management and employee engagement in collaboration with HR.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for seamless service delivery.
Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, organizational
policies, licensing, accreditation and quality standards.
Champion quality improvement, patient safety, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor patient experience and service standards, including waiting times, feedback, complaints and resolution.
Track key performance indicators and prepare regular reports highlighting achievements, gaps, risks and corrective actions.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
Job Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Health Services Management or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in healthcare administration or management, preferably in hospital/private healthcare.
Demonstrated experience managing healthcare operations, people and facility performance.
Understanding of healthcare quality management, regulatory compliance, patient safety and accreditation requirements.
Knowledge of healthcare financial and operational performance, including revenue management, cost control and resource optimization.
