Oasis Healthcare Group Limited Human Resource Officer- Kisii Jobs in Kenya;To serve as a strategic partner in implementing the hospital’s overall strategy by supporting effective delivery of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, staff development and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align HR initiatives with hospital objectives to support staff productivity and organizational growth.

  • Participate in workforce planning and talent retention strategies.

  • Coordinate recruitment processes (job adverts, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, onboarding).

  • Support grievance handling, conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.

  • Promote staff engagement and coordinate welfare programs.

  • Support implementation and monitoring of performance appraisal systems.

  • Guide supervisors in setting performance targets and reviewing progress.

  • Collaborate on performance improvement and capacity‑building plans.

  • Conduct training needs assessments and recommend learning interventions.

  • Coordinate CMEs and internal/external training programs and track participation.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, hospital policies and HR procedures.

  • Sensitize staff on HR policies and uphold ethical practices.

  • Collate monthly payroll inputs (overtime, allowances, deductions).

  • Monitor and track leave, absenteeism, contract renewals and probation confirmations.

  • Generate and submit timely HR
    reports and documentation to stakeholders.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy HR function, preferably healthcare.

  • Membership with IHRM in good standing.

  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws and healthcare HR challenges.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.

  • High level of confidentiality, integrity and emotional intelligence.

  • Strategic mindset with ability to balance people and institutional goals.
