Oasis Healthcare Group Laboratory Technologist Jobs in Kenya; To conduct laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients, while ensuring compliance with professional standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, prepare, analyze, and process patient specimens in accordance with standard operating procedures.

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests accurately and within stipulated turnaround times.

  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.

  • Validate test results and promptly communicate critical values to clinicians.

  • Adhere to internal quality control and external quality assurance programs.

  • Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health, KMLTTB, ISO, and other regulatory standards.

  • Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective action processes.

  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records and documentation.

  • Observe laboratory safety procedures, including proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials.

  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control guidelines.

  • Report incidents, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns promptly.

  • Provide professional interaction with patients during specimen collection where applicable.

  • Support clinicians with test interpretation where necessary.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions when required.
