Oasis Healthcare Accountant Jobs in Kenya;We are seeking an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, ensure statutory compliance, strengthen internal controls, support budgeting processes, and safeguard the facility’s financial integrity.

Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records in compliance with standards and healthcare regulations.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

  • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management.

    Payroll & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll processing and statutory remittances (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, Housing Levy, etc.).

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits and implement corrective action plans.

    Budgeting & Controls

  • Support budget preparation, monitoring and variance analysis.

  • Strengthen internal controls to prevent fraud and misappropriation.

  • Monitor departmental expenditure against approved budgets.

    Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.

  • Provide financial data to support strategic planning and resource allocation.

  • Assist in procurement, financial verification and supplier payment validation.

  • Contribute to continuous
    quality improvement initiatives in line with SafeCare accreditation standards.

    Requirements

    Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.

  • CPA Part II required.

    Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in accounting • Healthcare or institutional setting preferred.

    Skills

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation and statutory compliance.

  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and professional ethics.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
