Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities of all Technicians

• Providing technical support to the trainers and trainees.

• Maintaining workshop inventories by receiving, issuing tools and materials in the workshop

• Carrying out routine maintenance of machines and equipment

• Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and workshop facilities.

• Preparing maintenance schedule for all the workshop equipment

• Observing and ensuring health and safety procedures are practiced and enforced in the workshop.

• Ensuring cleanliness of machines/equipment and orderly work areas

Minimum Requirements

• Be a KNEC Diploma holder in the relevant specialization.

• Must be below 45 years of age.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferably in a TVET training institution,

In Compliance to article six 6 of the constitution of Kenya. all the applicants should provide:

• Valid certificate of good conduct

• Tax compliance certificate

• HELB clearance

• EACC compliance certificate

• CRB Clearance certificate
