Numerical Machining Complex Limited is a Semi-Autonomous Government
Agency established under the Companies Act Cap 486 Laws of Kenya.

The
company is seeking dynamic and experienced technician to support a
vibrant team in Quality Assurance that is committed to NMC’s mission
“To catalyze industrialization in Kenya by leveraging national
resources and modern manufacturing technologies through stakeholder
collaboration for sustainable development”

Job Profile
The Engineering Technician III (Quality Assurance) responsibilities include
among others the following:-

1. Carry out checks and inspections whilst liaising with machine operators
taking into consideration the production processes required to deliver the
job.
2. Coordinating and collaborating with machine operators to produce quality
products.
3. Inspection and calibration of jigs and fixtures.
4. Confirmation of mating parts, designed sizes and operational changes as
required.
5. Inspection and calibration of measuring instruments, equipment and
machines as per the maintenance schedule.
6. Record keeping and quality conformance to the ISO 9001:2015 procedures
as mandated by the Quality Management System.

Person Profile

  • Should be a person of high integrity and should meet the requirements of
    Chapter Six of the Kenya Constitution and Article 232 on Values and
    Principles of the Public Service;
  • High School (KCSE/KCE)
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Diploma in metallurgical Engineering will be an added advantage.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, be apt and keen
    on completing tasks
    within highly ambitious lead-times without compromising quality.
  • Must demonstrate capability in quality assurance, testing checks and other
    applicable methods.
  • Demonstrate ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings
  • Able to clearly define engineering processes required to produce the required
    products.
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience as a machinist
