Nova Pioneer Grade 3-6 Kiswahili Resident Teacher Jobs in Kenya;Nova Pioneer is hiring Kiswahili Specialist Teachers to oversee daily learning for primary school students within a teaching team.

The role involves leading extra‑curricular programmes, assisting in planning school events, and ensuring a safe, stimulating environment for children’s academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children.

  • Plan activities that meet social, physical and emotional needs.

  • Develop, review and update schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum.

  • Set assessments for subject areas/topics when required.

  • Schedule stimulating learning activities and prepare teaching aids.

  • Devise games and activities, ensuring facilities and equipment are safe.

  • Supervise children during learning and play.

  • Observe and evaluate each child’s progress and provide written reports.

  • Monitor and keep records of children’s development.

  • Assimilate arriving children to the school environment.

  • Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and maintain order.

  • Plan and supervise class projects, field trips and experiential activities.

  • Assist in bus loading and unloading.

  • Attend professional meetings, conferences and training workshops.

  • Perform other duties
    as assigned by the Manager.

    About You

    Skills & Qualifications Required

  • TSC certification.

  • Relevant degree in Education, P1 Diploma or P1 Certificate.

  • Minimum 3+ years teaching experience.

  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable to change.

  • Proactive problem solver with ability to address issues thoroughly.

  • Excited about Nova Pioneer’s culture, embracing feedback and continuous growth.

  • Desire to further develop leadership skills and transform the lives of African youth.
