Generic responsibilitiesImplement NRC’s ICT policies and guidelines at office level
Ensure system security
Ensure that network access privileges, applications, data storage and regular backups are configured and maintained
Implement and update a data disaster recovery plan (back up)
Schedule computer related services, maintenance and license renewals
Ensure installation and maintenance of protection services (anti-viruses and firewalls)
Plan network upgrades, expansions and replacements
Provide ICT support and trainings to staff
Participate in the procurement processes of ICT equipment
Support & Contribute to the development and implementation of M&E Systems.
Specific responsibilities
Providing General ICT Support to the Regional Office and Kenya Country Office
Ensure network uptime of 99% for the Regional Office and Kenya Country Office
Facilitating of the monthly ICT Payments to suppliers
Design, Development & Maintenance of Dashboards in Power BI
Management and troubleshooting of Regional Online Data Reporting System
Carry out any other tasks as shall be assigned by the supervisor
Professional competencies
Minimum of 3 years of Experience in the ICT field
Experience with PHP will be an added advantage.
Experience from working as an ICT Officer in a humanitarian/recovery context
Specialist in Power BI
Competent in RDBMS
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
Knowledge about own skills/profile
Fluency in English both in writing and orally
Behavioral competencies
Planning and delivering results
Working
with people
Analyzing
Handling insecure environments
We Offer:
Contract Period: Until 31st December 201 with possibility of extension.
Extension of the contract depends on the performance and the availability of funding.
