North Eastern National Polytechnic Internal Auditor - Jobs in Kenya

The polytechnic wishes to recruit a suitably qualified Kenyan to the position of Internal auditor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the institution's financial documentation and reports.
  • Monitor management implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Assess and research the institution's risk management process' suitability Prepare audit reports that reflect institution's audit results for review and presentation to management.
  • Assess all the Institution's internal control procedures, backup and disaster recovery, communication control, system maintenance and security for the systems which are under development, and upgrade them to current versions for enhanced efficiency and ease in use

    Qualifications, knowledge and skills
  • Bachelor's degree In a business related field eg. Bcom, Bbm. CPAK or ACCA holder, registered with a professional body, eg ICPAK
  • 5 years' work experience either in auditing or accounting firm, public or private sector.
  • Experience In a school or college environment is an added advantage
  • Meet requirements of chapter 6 of the constitution
  • Proficient in accounting and audit software, Keen in detail, outgoing and willing to work to meet deadlines.
