Nile Breweries Limited Packaging Process Operator Jobs in Uganda;Safely operate and maintain defined Technical Services Plants and related processes to achieve optimal effectiveness.

Key Outputs & Responsibilities

Plant & Process

  • Operate packaging plant equipment according to VPO Standards.

  • Optimize plant and process performance.

  • Perform housekeeping tasks, apply 5s principles and follow safe work practices.

  • Identify and correct unsafe work practices.

  • Support drafting/documenting of standard work procedures.

    Quality Control & Analysis

  • Carry out required quality checks and analyses.

  • Record results in appropriate information system.

  • Apply problem‑solving techniques (5 WHY, quick fix routines).

  • Escalate unresolved problems to Line Manager.

    Communication

  • Actively participate in meetings and PI reviews.

  • Understand team goals and participate in review sessions.

  • Use communication media (e.g., shift logbook) to stay informed.

  • Complete required handover to incoming shift team.

  • Execute autonomous operations tasks and problem‑solving activities.

    Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • FMCG industry experience an advantage.

  • Understanding of VPO principles.
