Nile Breweries Limited Inventory Clerk Jobs in Uganda;Ensure inventory accuracy and system integrity by processing, verifying and reconciling all inventory transactions in SAP S/4HANA in line with company policies, governance standards and operational requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Inventory Reporting

  • Adhere to pre‑stock stake processes.

  • Compile daily/weekly/monthly stock take packs.

  • Ensure adjustments are done prior to stock count.

  • Maintain clean GIT account and valid entries signed off.

  • Report non‑compliance and close actions.

  • Facilitate and participate in stock counts of raw materials, finished goods, empties and spares.

  • Ensure stock counts per company standards and ad‑hoc for variances.

  • Maintain digital stock master devices and track usage.

  • Coordinate training on inventory policies and SOPs.

    Bottle Loss Management

  • Update MBFU portal daily.

  • Participate in weekly FRI capture.

  • Audit compliance with inventory routines (stock recons, counts, loss investigations, MBFU & BITs, RTI, aging POs/GRNs).

    SCOH Management

  • Support KPI management on inventory reconciliation.

  • Monitor ERP data integrity and reconcile movements.

  • Track/report blocked and virtual warehouse inventory.

  • Review GL codes daily and post losses correctly.

  • Investigate stock variances.

  • Monitor adherence to Minimum Internal Controls (MICs).

    Shipment Reconciliations

  • Update gate‑to‑gate report daily.

  • Escalate delayed shipments and captures.

  • Follow up overdue T1 GIT shipments.

  • Ensure recharges for breakages/missing bottles.

  • Track/resolve
    customer complaints.

    Packaging Interface

  • Track daily inventory issued/received with packaging team.

  • Balance cullet weekly.

  • Reconcile issued containers vs packed volumes.

    Distributor Stock Management

  • Communicate missing/foreign/broken bottles to customers.

  • Verify returns credited correctly.

  • File daily reconciliation report signed off.

    Fuel Reconciliations

  • Capture fuel usage.

  • Raise purchase orders.

  • Resolve invoice queries.

  • Participate in daily fuel stock take.

    Maintain Product Quality

  • Physically isolate blocked stock and block in system.

    DPO/VPO

  • Ensure inventory management block in Logistics pillar is adhered to.

  • Participate in VPO/DPO routines and audits.

    Key Attributes & Competencies

  • High computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, SAP S/4HANA, Teams).

  • Strong numerical/reconciliation skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail‑oriented and team player.
