Tasks

  • Responsible for coordinating and supervising the NLNG feed gas quantity and quality assurance processes and activities in compliance with the
    GSA, with minimal supervision, so as to ensure optimal utilization of the gas transmission system and value for the business.

  • Develop procedures and calculative tools to optimally balance the
    short to medium term Gas Supply requirement, administration and commercial activities.

  • Act as contract holder & directly develop and manage the administration of the gas quantity and quality assurance activities and contracts, seeking support from relevant disciplines where necessary and, ensuring effectiveness, efficiency and value for money.

  • Coordinate the monthly gas invoice receipt and processing and relevant annual reconciliations, ensuring accurate accrual of funds for payment, while also ensuring payments to gas suppliers are promptly processed with nil interest penalty exposure to the business.

  • Interface with the Gas Suppliers and regulators, maintaining excellent relationships and routinely arrange the PGC internal monthly
    invoice / Gas Contracts review meetings. Support the Gas Suppliers’ Coordination Group (GSCG) Meetings in order to enhance relationships
    between NLNG and the Gas Suppliers.

  • Participate in the resolution of claims/ complaints and disputes associated with gas supply (quality, quantity, timing) and assurance
    processes /services.

  • Provide advice as appropriate and execute GSA management activities including performance measurement and contract compliance monitoring
    and reporting

  • Custodian of PGC transaction records, organize and maintain records and correspondences on all gas supply related issues with suppliers,
    contractors and relevant
    government organizations and other stakeholders.

  • SME for the Energy Component (Hydrocarbon Accounting System) Transport and Revenue modules, support the development of other users
    and the upgrade /improvements to the system, continually seeking ways to improve the gas business administration and assurance processes.

    Requirements

    Education:

  • A University degree in Engineering or Sciences (e.g. Process Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical
    Engineering, Physics, Chemistry etc.) or Economics, Finance, Business
    Administration.

    Experience:

  • 5 - 7 years post graduate experience, out of which 3 years should have been spent in required function in a reputable organization
    preferably an Oil & Gas company.

  • Previous technical and/or upstream,
    operational experience is desirable.
